By way of guidance, is the menu ‘All day Breakfast’ or ‘Hummus on Sourdough’?

Do they serve anything that has recognisably been growing in the last 48 hours? E.g. salad, fresh fruit and vegetables? Vegetarian options ?

Ambiance? Tasteful tea-shop or transport cafe?

In simple terms, can I take the slightly up-market Mrs K there for lunch?

Launched January, "No.23" Cafe is being run by Charlotte Russell in the Henstridge clubhouse, located in the central area opposite the control room. Weekdays 10am - 4pm, serving a full range of barista coffees, teas, cold drinks, cakes and lunches.

I have no idea how to upload an image to this forum, but the cafe menu PDF I have says:

Toasties & paninis (+50p)

Brie, Chorizo & Cranberry 5.50 Cheddar, Sundried Tomato & Green Pesto 5.50 Cheddar and Red Onion/Mango Chutney 5.50 Chicken, ChorizoB & Cheddar 6.00 Mozzarella, Cheddar, Chorizo, Sundried Tomato & Green Pesto 6.00
Tuna & Cheddar Melt 5.50

All served with salad, dressing, chutney and crisps.

Sandwiches

Cheddar, Mozzarella and Salad 4.50
Coronation Chicken and baby spinach 5.00
Chicken, Mayo, Lettuce and Tomato 5.00
Smoked Mackerel and Lemon Horseradish 5.00

All served with salad, dressing, chutney and crisps.

So basically, cafe style lunch & barista coffees & cakes available weekdays and full menu from Geoff at weekends. :thumleft::

We have wonderful sources these days called websites, Pooleys, and Skydemon.

Sarcasm appreciated, but the Henstridge airfield website only talks about the other option AFAICT
