This unique online event, live from London Biggin Hill Airport from 13:00 on 28 May 2022 (London time), will bring the thrill of aviation directly to everyone who tunes in at http://www.ArmchairAirshow.com or on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ec_VWSTrJ84.

World class formation display team The Blades are giving Aerobility exclusive access to a display and the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, will bring the show to a close. In-between is 3 hours of extraordinary content, the likes of which you can only see on the Armchair Airshow. This includes an extremely rare 3-ship from Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar, as well as some specially filmed air-to-air footage from the world of rotary flight. Not to mention Ginetta racing!

Viewers will also have the chance to bid for a range of money-can’t-buy aviation opportunities and unique gifts in the Armchair Airshow Auction. All of the proceeds will support Aerobility’s work enabling disabled people to learn to fly.

Auction lots include a chance to fly your own T67 Top Gun in an air combat mission, a wing walk, an Aerobility flight to Le Touquet in a PA28 for the afternoon, NATS Tower Tours and a 737 simulator experience.

There are many more lots too which can be found on the online auction site at https://ww1.emma-live.com/armchairairshow/?list_lots

Mike Miller-Smith, CEO at the charity said “This is the third Armchair Airshow and it continues to develop and evolve giving viewers a unique chance to see behind the scenes, get up close and personal with aviators and aircraft alike.

“The support we have had from organisations such as Aerobytes, London Biggin Hill Airport and the Department for Transport, enables the show to grow every year, providing inspiration, through aviation to the tens of thousands of people that tune-in. We could not do it without the amazing support of aviation community. We cannot thank them enough.

“To watch the show simply head to http://www.ArmchairAirshow.com on the 28th May. We hope as many people as possible will tune-in and support the charity, we promise it will be worth it.”

David Winstanley, CEO at London Biggin Hill Airport said “We are delighted to once again be supporting the Armchair Airshow. We urge the entire aviation community to watch the show and support the charity. Every penny they raise, changes lives through aviation.”

We really hope as many people as possible from the Flyer community worldwide will tune in on the day!
