I also freely loaned a copy of 'The Shepherd' to a friend a long time ago which was never returned.
I didn't lose a book; he lost a friend.

I'm impressed by the demand for this book, or is it just for this special copy ? Is it out of print ?

Anyway, I'm prepared to put into FF circulation my own (remaining) copy, for collection/return at JAM by arrangement! Obviously, this means probably localish until we can again host fly-ins .. Any takers ?

[I'm fairly sure I've seen copies come (donated) and go (sold) on the JAM bookshelves]

[usermention=272]@kanga[/usermention] I think it was just RobL's the lovely idea of passing on something meaningful and joining us together via our 'signing'* the book before we passed it forward. IIRC he was gifted it by a valued friend.
* FF username and the date we pass it on.

I've since bought it for my Kindle because I loved it so much :D
