With around 8,000 members, the Light Aircraft Association, the heart of a community that lives and breathes recreational aviation in all its forms We support builders and flyers of all sorts of sport aircraft, ancient and modern!

The successful candidate will be part of a small team based at Turweston Aerodrome (so own transport is essential), acting as a point of contact between our members and HQ staff.

Main duties will be supporting the Office Manager in a variety of roles including emails, answering the phone, organising meetings (preparing and setting up meeting room), updating membership database, dealing with member queries, sorting out the post (opening and franking), posting out retail orders, entering payment details onto our accounts system, ordering of stationary, dealing with classified ads for our in-house magazine, dealing with course administration (taking bookings, payments) and all other general admin jobs as required.

The successful candidate must be IT competent on Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook, have a friendly personality and ability to work within a small team and also independently. Excellent communication skills required and attention to detail is essential. Training on all in-house systems will be given. This is a full-time post, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
