On that 27 approach, the picture is always deceptive as the runway far end looks very close to the sea, whereas in reality, the ground slopes away sharply from that runway end and there is actually quite a distance to the sea.

If you lower the angle of view on google maps you can almost get the beach to appear at the end of the runway.

I'd agree the DC-7 is SAS. I remember that hangar just above its fin in the mid-70s, gone not long after...

Yes I am sure that is Heathrow possibly taken from the Queen's Building and it is SAS and BEA.
