Looking at the video the right engine appears feathered. With four up, survey equipment and fuel for Rennes I would imagine that the P68 would have been a bit of a brick on one engine so he did well to get back to the beach. Could have been a lot worse if he'd gone into the Irish sea.

The last FR24 trace for the aircraft is around 11:15am which just shows a left turn to 900' and then nothing. Did it do a test flight in the circuit earlier in the day? The accident was in the afternoon.
