It's manic! Also look at FR24 or Planefinder.

LiveATC:
Fisk: (not really Fisk...it's Endeavour nearPortage now, near Baraboo!): https://www.liveatc.net/hlisten.php?mou ... &icao=kosh

Runway 18/36: https://www.liveatc.net/hlisten.php?mou ... &icao=kosh

09/27: https://www.liveatc.net/hlisten.php?mou ... &icao=kosh

(The Fisk Controller from Tennessee is just brilliant!)
[my edit: 09/27 is the correct E/W runway orientation]

Memories of two years ago as we arrived on a last short sector from Chicago Exec. There was a mass arrival in progress as we first tuned in to Oshkosh. We slowed it up a bit towards RIPON and then slotted in beautifully as we got there and went straight into the approach as they restarted ‘normal’ arrivals. This was my ForeFlight screen as we arrived . I was glad that there was two of us in the aircraft at this point as it made for a fairly intense few minutes.

We arrived just in time as within about 20 minutes of parking, a severe TS/CB warning came out over the tannoy, which caused chaos, scattering aircraft everywhere, saturating the surrounding airfields for miles around, closing grass parking for a couple of days, which then had big implications for playing catch-up on the arrivals subsequently.

I sat there on the end of the runway, scanner in hand, jaw on the floor most of the time, thinking ‘this could never happen in Europe !’.

I hope to be back next year. Every pilot should experience Oshkosh at least once in their lifetime.
