Absolutely, me too.

It's not entirely impossible that the warm front bringing the rain in from the south west tomorrow could move across slower than forecast.

We live in hope, for another few hours at least :D

It's a lovely, calm autumn morning here at Hinderclay Meadows. Looking forward to meeting any of you who can make it over.

The TAFs suggest the Champ might not enjoy the sky today. I know I wouldn't, so she doesn't get to test it. Other areas look a little more optimistic. Have a super day.

That's great, is @JAFO going to be there? I know he said he couldn't do Sunday, just wondering if his plans have changed?

I just couldn't risk today's weather. As in all things aviation: if there's doubt, there is no doubt.

I'll try again tomorrow. Here's hoping :D I'll be in my little red & white VFR taildragger if I make it.

(The forecast for next week doesn't look wonderful at all, what with the remnants of some Atlantic hurricane coming our way.
Hey-ho; weather does what it does :? )

@TopCat - I'm afraid that I can't make it tomorrow. Much as I was looking forward to the Speedos and flip-flops, I won't be able to get there.

I hope you're able to visit, though and I sincerely hope that we get to meet up soon.

Similar comment to Rob L, not that I have a little red and white taildragger.

Tomorrow's little breeze looks rather daunting and the rain here may by now be having an effect on the runway but I'm not going to think myself out of it, yet.

Absolutely foul in Sarf Lunnun just now and looking at Weather Radar it is raining across almost all of England, though clearing slowly from the west...

Hope you did get some visitors at Hinderclay! Any pics?

So the burger van sold one sausage sarnie?
It's a gamble, organising a fly-in with the UK weather. I commend anyone trying.

As do I. My profound thanks to @terryws for arranging today's fly-in, I'm just sorry that I can't make it tomorrow.
