Well y’know… not new-new. New to me…

Rhubarb the X’Air has been rehomed to a STEM charity as a rebuild project after our EFATO into the clover, and an aircraft I very quickly found myself calling Charlie Splatt has joined us in her place.

"Charlie Splatt"!

I'm loving the names you give your aircraft and looking forward to new adventures retold here (Maybe not as adventurous as Rhubarb's last hurrah)

Nice!
You'll have a lot of fun with him. And don't listen to anyone who says you should have gone for 100hp, or a Ninja or whatever. Classic Skyranger with 80hp is all you need, plus you're still a real microlighter (just - at least its rag and tube and you're forgiven having as 912 as at least you had the full two-stroke experience)
:)

PS split doors - good for opening for photography and balmy summer evenings...

I think the paintwork explains the Splatt element.

I think that could be the ideal aircraft for you. Excellent news.

Congrats! Looks great fun. What’s the performance like on a machine like that?

You've angered the Gods of Sky by giving aircraft masculine names; they must be feminine names.

Similar to the fact that you shouldn't rename a yacht without the requisite procedure and ceremony to King Neptune or Poseidon.
