Hello,

Does anyone know where the official guidance is on process for arriving in a GA aircraft from France currently?

I will need to reposition a GA aircraft currently in central France and need to get it back to EGTR.

So would Eurostar or Fly out commercially, for a day or so then fly back to the UK. Clearly as France is on the Amber list will need to do 10 day home quarantine with a day 2 and day 8 test on return to the UK.

Do people know if you have to return through a specific port or can you file an FPL and GAR for a direct flight into a port such as EGTR currently? Presumably need to complete a PLF (Passenger Locator Form) prior to that too?

Also I appreciate England demands a test prior to arrival from Amber list country and if travel less than 3 days that can be a test taken ion the UK before you go.

Code: Select allTaking your test in the UK before travel
If you are returning to the UK within 3 days, you can use the result of a COVID-19 test that you take in the UK before you travel. You must use a private test provider for the test and not an NHS test.

The service on which you will arrive back in the UK must set off for the UK within 3 days of when you took the test.

I appreciate generally tourism is not allowed to Amber list countries, but this is not a tourist trip it's a journey to reposition an aircraft. The government messages are a bit mixed around this but my understanding is it would be allowed.

Anyone have any understanding of how to navigate this process (yes fly north!) compliantly?
