Primarily for general aviation discussion, but other aviation topics are also welcome.

They presumably had some sort of understanding with a funder which proved not to be right, found during due diligence with the sale. Details will probably never become public to save blushes.

They had to be creative in their interpretation of what the crosswind was; those 328’s had a very low ( for a commercial aircraft) crosswind limit of only 21 knots. A flight test for EASA to try and have the crosswind limit increased didn’t go well: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... _09-17.pdf

I loved those little Dorniers:
Mind you I always asked for a single (left side) seat and avoided the one -forget the seat number- right by the prop disc.

That whirring prop a foot from my left ear always made me nervous: there is history of separated blades entering the cabin in some aircraft. (Dash 8 Air Canada IIRC)
