It's already been mentioned but another thumbs up for Beccles. The café is superb now and has waitress service with tables outside.. An excellent full English breakfast was had with smiles all round.

The new super smooth black asphalt runway is superb. :thumleft:

I also flew in to Beccles yesterday, great welcome, very relaxed and a superb all day breakfast, will definitely return. LW

Sleap (EGCV) cafe has just had a revamp and is open to the public again.

Super easy to get to, LARS service from Shawbury Zone Mon-Fri, closed Sat/Sun, even better.

The boys in the office are second to none, and plenty of interesting aircraft on the grass all weekend.

The good one. (I think the skydivers have a lower class of establishment round the back)

Was a bit windy for some of us.... but early days. We're hoping that it will be busier once indoor eating is allowed again
