The plan is to land the booster 12 miles off shore from Boca Chica, it will be a full flyback profile, just without the tower catching it. There might be a small kaboom, but it should be pretty much out of propellant by the time it lands in the drink.

The Starship will go around the planet and land in the water north of Hawaii, testing the heatshield on the way down.
