Our electric aircraft is on a tour of South Sweden right now. By transporting the charging station in a car we can showcase the aircraft at many different airports and invite the local press. The regional airports are eager to have us since it's good publicity for them, and as you are aware they really need it. "Electric" and "green" have become important buzzwords to show that you're modern and relevant, regardless of how close the usable technology for CAT might be.

I managed to do one lesson before this trip, so I have a few to go. The most difficult thing for me personally was slide slipping: one needs to be proficient in that not because of the electric engine but because of the airframe and the fact that we don't have airbreaks like we do in the Pipistrel Virus. Otherwise the Velis is very easy to fly.

I have however passed the theory course: :D
