The 48h notice is only needed if your CAT flight is required to operate under AFIS wach (twin jets that flies IFR and eat JetA with red truck sitting in front while pax disembark, yes they are in Calais Int as well from time to time  )

Just 2h PNR for Mr Le Douanier, if AFIS is not around try your best with RT in Franglais and enjoy :thumleft:

I went there yesterday. Spent more time filing paperwork than flying!

Public Health Locator Form https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-cont ... -travel-uk
GAR via Skydemon (http://www.onlinegar.com)
Flight plans via http://www.eurofpl.com (cleaner than decluttering the Skydemon version)
2 hrs PPR customs to douane-aeroportletouquet@douane.finances.gouv.fr

~ flight ~

C155 Gendec to heathrow.hcu@phe.gov.uk
Out of hours landing form at home base
Drawback application via https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... craft-ho60

Great ATC service on the trip, Lille welcomed me as if I was IFR "we have your flight plan, call for descent". Le Touquet fantastic, it's over 10 years since I last went. A 40 min walk to the beach, long lazy lunch, walk back to airport via Carrefour (I packed a lightweight trolley for our purchases).

Altogether a great day out. Caen next.

Did you notice if the Bike Hire setup was functioning?

It is.

I have been using one since Monday.

There are more taxis now, and a couple of Tesla minicabs also, but it is still nothing you can rely on, particularly if you have a deadline at the airport

Oh come on! It's not that difficult.

As announced today, if you have symptoms you must isolate for ten days.

So obviously if you don't have symptoms but have been in a Cessna, you must isolate for 14 days.

Simples

Nice you enjoyed L2K, be careful at Caen there is a grumpy Tower ATC
I went there last month, dropped a friend of mine before heading to Paris, they were filming a helicopter with a drone and ATC just had enough and was looking to cut his Friday before I arrived :eye:

It is PPR now (if such thing exist in France) as they have work on the parking pad, so limited parking but one can always go grass, there are no numbers there...
