It would take a couple of hours for the first RNLI assets to get to the site but I would have hoped their locator beacon would allow a helicopter to get close quickly.
I hear there is low level fog at the coast - is that likely to be similar 75 miles offshore?

No reports from the aircraft he was in a group with - would have hoped for a report about an open chute.

Praying for positive news.

Flying along that coastline yesterday, the fog bank went a mile or two inland and as far as the eye could see out to sea. Things could be quite different that far out though.
