Tend to assume contrails are at 30000'+ but I've seen Dash-8s and C-130s trailing at 20000' or so, think I noticed a Dash-8 at 18000' once. Only small turboprops I've ever noticed leaving a trail are Avantis which seem to cruise a bit higher than King Airs and the like?

Just noticed a hot air balloon on Flight Tracker doing a stately 6kts near Brackley! Wait a minute it's turned into a Swiss Cherokee doing 90kts...

It's actually the Cherokee which is just been re-registered as G-LGAN but for some reason it's also transmitting a dual identity as Cameron HAB G-LOAN! Schizophrenia! Mistake in the tracker databases I guess...

Caught a glimpse of this aircraft buzzing between Bournemouth and Cardiff today. Looks to be landing at Cardiff, taxing back to the end of the runway then taking off.

Previously a Virgin aircraft, now owned by "Maleth-Aero". Any ideas what it's doing this for?
