If bed occupancy is 5 to 10 days and our graph looks like beating Italy and Spain that looks like even at 75% of worst case scenario, a lot of fatalities.
When I helped run a gliding course with 637 VGS at Little Rissington in 1991, the USAF had converted the 4 main 'C' type hangars plus barrack blocks and airmens mess into a massive hospital for Gulf War casualties which never materialised; not only that but they had also re-surfaced the main runway and established an H24 fire service.
Probably all gone now.
(apart from a runway which has only seen the occasional Herc and until 2016, motor glider activity)
