Hello all,

I cannot find a website where I can find flight numbers for LHR T2 for Friday 8th November between 17:30 and 18:30.
Could someone point me in the right direction ?
Many thanks

Thanks ATCO, tried it, not easy to catch them, have to go back and forth to catch but doable.
Sometimes they have different call sign to the one on flight ticket.
Ryanair does it but no idea why, maybe you can explain.

Thanks Dominie, it does not give me times on that list. :(

edit .... just noticed it does show times :thumright:

It’s normal and not just Ryanair.

What you want to avoid is BAW25, BAW225 and BAW255 on the same frequency at the same time. It has happened. Hence you will see (for example, these are not actually correct) BAW25, BAW22D and BA55W as the ATC callsign.

Flight numbers and callsigns are not necessarily the same in order to avoid callsign confusion.

Also tickets are usually IATA company encodes, and flight plans ICAO company encodes, e.g. Ryanair FR and RYR respectively.

Very confusing to track a flight of someone is on. Noticed now Turkish does the same and probably many other airlines.
On FR24 it shows often completely different flight number.
Which is reported to ATC enroute by the crew ?

Thanks Human Factors, Talkdownman, ATCO91,
With the Speedbird call signs possible confusion it makes sense but ... how can they anticipate call sign confusion in any given area ?
