For 53 years, regardless of where I was in the world and whether I was flying an RF-3 or a DC-10. without fail I always called "Finals". It mattered not whether I had a CAA/FAA examiner in the other seat , I'm afraid I always called "Finals". Astonishingly, not a single person mentioned my dreadful transgression even once. I will try to buck up but remembering things at my age is becoming more difficult.
