September would be better (than November) for the longer daylight hours.
We could push the boat out and have more than one big meet up.....
Could do one ooop north, one down south, one in the middle... perhaps on different weekends.

Saturday 28th Sept @ Leicester is not a good day, there is a Wings and Wheels event scheduled for that day and facilities will already be stretched. Feel free to make it another weekend though.

Why is trying to organise anything like this like trying to herd cats ?
I tried to organise a few fly-in/meet ups a few years back on the LAA website. It was like banging your head against a brick wall .
I think the only way to actually getting pilots together is for the OP to name a date/ place and a fall back date to allow for weather.
If people cant make it well you have to accept that.
