WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST
==========================

Issued: 1400 hrs, Friday 10th May 2019

SATURDAY
----------------
A trough extends north to south through the country on Saturday. A further trough over southeast England gives thundery rain here, this fading ahead of the threat of thundery showers deveoping again later. Elsewhere it should be a brighter start, but there will be showers developing quickly along the line of the trough, these heavy and thundery at times.
Fewer showers further west where pressure is going to be building and the showers fading away.
Winds mainly N-NE 15-20kt (F5) but 20-25kt (F6) in the far southeast.

SUNDAY
------------
High pressure developing over the UK on Sunday. This brings a misty start with some fog patches in places. The mist and fog will lift, any low cloud break and some good spells of sunshine develop.
There will be some cloud developing, again north to south through the spine of the country and that may trigger a few showers. Most areas should stay dry.
Winds will be variable 5-8kt (F2) but S-SE 10-14kt (F-F4) in the west and E 10-12kt (F3) in the south. Sea breezes developing.
