Hi! Has anybody first hand experience with one of these Chinese ANR headsets?

Raytalk PH 100 AC BT

I intend to replace a DC 10.13.4. Do I have to expect worse build quality, worse passive attenuation, mediocre, noisy, cumbersome active attenuation and very short battery life? Should I spend more? The plane isn't really noisy, it's just a gadget/gift to myself.
Thanks!

I took a pair of Raytalk PH 100AC. Work great, similar to a DC 13.4 with ANRMAN conversion (which I've also got). Clamping forces are quite high and I always remove the batteries between flights, not because they've drained, just a precaution.
I think they're great value for money, cheaper than a pair of DC PNRs. I wouldn't like to fly without ANR, the difference is huge. I don't understand why more people don't use them.

Look like the SEHT headsets - I’ve got the top one and the bottom one (albeit carbon) I’m very happy with mine - if you’re happy to go without Uk support they look a bargain!

Edit: the bottom one is a weird one actually - box looks like it should be AAs and mine also has volume control on the box not on the ears... it might not be as good as it seems!

With SkyDemon /PilotAware spoken traffic information now available any headset without Bluetooth is a poor investment.

I guess Aux In would work if you like wires

I got 2 sets and sold 1 for cost, they were $195, about £140 at the time. Quality was good, sound quality was slightly tinny compared to the ARNMAN DC13.4's, but, £140! And worked perfectly fine/similar to DCs as PNR. Battery box wasn't as slick and no auto shutoff, but, £140! for ANR!

[edit]I see them with Bluetooth at $285 at Alibaba, not sure where you're looking...[/edit]
[edit2]IMO Bose A20 is the gold standard for sound quality, I've no experience of Lightspeed
Given what a transformative experience ANR provides I would recommend the Raytalk over a PNR set[/edit2]

I would get Bluetooth as well these days, but at the time I don't think it wasn't an option and the requirement wasn't as clear. My panel has Bluetooth as well so, it depends on your environment.

Assuming you have Skydemon and PilotAware! I suppose there is always Spotify if flying low enough!

I have been in contact with Raytalk before. Are they the source of all the almost exact models with only the branding being the difference? I have seen £100 differences between identical models.
I tried their top ANR carbon fibre model at a show and was astonished at how bad and sharp the audio was when listening to music.
