Flying Weekend Weather Forecast 28/3/19

It’s a pleasant weekend ahead for many of us, although feeling much colder for all by Sunday. Details below.

WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST

SATURDAY

Pressure stays high over the southern parts of the UK on Saturday. Weakening cold fronts are slipping southwards through the northern half of the UK.
Broken cloud and some showery bursts of rain slipping south through Scotland and into northern England and central Ireland.
Dry and fair to the south with sunny spells and dry here to.
Becoming brighter in northern Scotland with a few showers as the occluded front arrives.
Winds will be variable 5-10kt (F2-F3) in the south, becoming mainly N 10-15kt (F3-F4) to the north.

SUNDAY
------------
Pressure stays high through Sunday. A brisk wind in the far south of the country. The remnants of a cold front clearing to the south with the cloud breaking and sunny spells developing. An isolated shower in the Midlands, southern England and Scotland.
Best of the sunshine in northern England and Scotland with little change through the day.
Winds E 20-25kt (F5-F6) in the far south, mainly E 15-18kt (F4-F5) in much of southern Ireland, Wales, central and eastern England, mainly S-SE 8-12kt (F3) in Scotland.
