Just been sent this ,please find attached critical service bulletin from Continental requiring the permanent removal of the cold start primer valves from their engines! Just thought I would let everyone know that I have had 4 of these valves in 2 years the problem is that they starve the engine of fuel

No attachment G-JANN . Are these valves some sort of retro-fit option on your specific aircraft or are these a feature of all Seneca 3 Continental engines ? How do the valves relate to the 'normal' press-button primer action ?
