I suspect its built to handle a little more than a barrel roll.... :o

No doubt but I can’t believe the manufacturer expected it to be rolled.

Slight overexhuberance on the part of the pilot I guess.

I wonder if he’ll get a Christmas card

The 1G barrel roll is a myth. I've never met anyone who has done one, or even a serious aerobatic pilot who even believes in such a thing and the least I've ever managed was about 2.4G. I'm sure the ultimate load this structure is capable of is many times that though.

A barrell roll would have brought the nose above the horizon, it looked more like an axis roll during the descent using either ailerons, elevons or spoilers.

Either way it still looked a nice manoeuvre.

Oh I really am getting fed up with having posts expressing my opinion donked because mods don’t agree with my views.

As this is a test flight by one of the manufacturer's test pilots, and they shared the video - I suspect that you may be mistaken.

Quite the reason for Forger's roll I don't know either, but it seems planned.

How do you explain this, then?

Is the G effect the same at that altitude?

That would probably happen at more than 1G. I expect an accurate set of scales under the glass would prove the point - only guessing.
