What I'm still not clear on after watching it is whether the RAF ever had any aircraft other than the Spitfire, the Harrier, the F35 and some drones.

Okay, there was a glimpse of some other stuff and I may have just been a little miffed that the Nimrod's 40 years of service was not even mentioned in passing, but it wasn't great. However, as Sean said, it was better than anything offered by any of the other channels at that time.

Just watched it. The first half needed someone with basic aircraft recognition ability to proof-watch before transmission
The rest just emphasised how far the RAF has r3cently fallen in terms of capability, and therefore relevance.

(At least they didn’t push the RAF as winning the Falklands .......)

Hang on one minute, surely the main player in the Falklands was the Vulcan, and that (and the 27 tankers) belonged to the RAF didn’t it?

I dunno, the way people constantly go on about SHARs in the Falklands, they need to get it in perspective.
