My great uncle Harry made his last service log book entry - Armistice signed 11/11/18.
He flew gas balloons throughout the Great War, mainly in UK as part of the anti- Zepplin searchlight training operations. His last service flight was on 5th November 1918 with only one short entry after that to acknowledge the signing of the Armistice - he didn’t fly again and was demobbed in early 1919. His licence shows some revalidations ( yes, even back then!) up until 1923, but we can find no log book entries to show that he flew after the war ended.
