Hi. I want to take my two kids away somewhere next week for an overnight. ATM I'm thinking of Isle of Wight. Is there anywhere local for camping ? Can you walk down to the beaches from Bembridge/Sandown ?
Any other suggestions ?

Good idea. Yes and yes, but Bembridge especially is not a five minute hop, if the children are very small.

Lots of airfields will allow camping. What age group are they? You can't go wrong with the IoW, IMO, but there are other ideas that might appeal.

Thanks. They are 6 & 8 years old. I can put the scooters in the back for slightly easier travelling.

Contact Weybourne north Norfolk. Owner has been agreeable previouly allowing camping on site, you have the military museum close by. Weybourne has a great pub, the steam railway is also close as are Cromer and Sheringham. Both towns great holiday destinations even more so if the heatwave continues. Beach adjacent to the airfield
