Are you using an old version of Firefox? I don't think Firefox supports SilverLight any more.
You're not using Edge rather than IE by any chance? Edge doesn't support SilverLight either.

On Windows 10 go to Start/Windows Accessories/Internet Explorer and it should work OK, does for me anyway!!

Its working for me in Firefox and IE, although it did take a while to download the map.
TC - It does work in Firefox,but you have to run the Extended Support Release to get Silverlight support. I'm running Firefox esr v52.8.1

Must be my old Compaq laptop still running Win XP ,(I have a reason) yep its old but was ok till this morning, my other two lappys running win 10/7 are ok so, no idea why a sudden failure like this when all other internet functions work ok.
