Interesting quote in the Flyer article on NATS buying into Worldwide ADSB:

I think it's coming and am quietly confident it's going to be more useful to GA than Mode S or 8.33 but I do wonder if we're going to go the way of the Septics, requiring certified (read more expensive) gear or whether someone will realise that uncertified is pretty good stuff and just allow certified to see uncertified.

General Aviation will benefit from ADS-B with improved electronic conspicuity and thus traffic awareness – but may also bring mandatory equipping with ADS-B closer.
