Paragraph six?
Once the student pilot is in receipt of their licence.
They stop being a student pilot.
They don't need to be authorised by an instructor.

Or  being in receipt of a licence they are not permitted to be authorised solo in future.
This means the immediate grounding of SSDR aircraft and everybody must now fly with a passenger.
Oh, dear.

Great work, Nick.

Paragraph 6 makes sense to me - post license-in-hand, no more solo sign-offs by an instructor for a PPL holder (including lapsed PPL holders since renewal does not require any solo flight), however an instructor CAN sign off solo flight for a LAPL holder in order to regain their rolling 12-month currency.
