I must confess, I did not introduce myself to anyone. I stood like a lemon, in the doorway.......proceeded into the main room and accosted an official- looking chap about signing- in (as advised in the confirmation e-mail) "just sit down" I was told......so that was me in stealth mode. leaving it that way, so those who are inclined can continue to pour scorn and vitriol into the ether of cyberspace.
£1. 10 for a small mug of tea, no wonder they can justify £100K spent on the kiddie's play area!....but give them their due, the premises were clean, bright and inviting. IIRC, the bar and the servery have swapped places since the LAC days. They even had portions of gluten-free cake on sale, as well as a traditional Sengupta Selection.
Excellent suggestion,Peter, but would people really want to release their personal identities? I have known a few IRL who use a pseudonym in their professional life and thus "travel incognito" as it were. don't do "2 - face , twatter, or any of these destabilising "social - media." In fact, since my lady died, I don't have any store- cards , they want to target their junk- mail? not to me, matey!
What? paranoid? moi?
