Does anyone know anything about a fairly decent looking grass strip along side the main railway line at Steventon, West of the A34 and Didcot? Flying over today there was a lovely looking Spitfire (scale one?) on the ground there. Conscious my unit often does PFLs in and around that area so any info might be useful so we deconflict - PM if preferred. Many thanks

Think I've found it on google maps; not showing on Zoom Earth.
West of Steventon just south of and parallel to the railway line; looks quite long possibly 1,500m but strangely with what looks like a mast at the east end right on the edge of the strip near what looks like a hangar.
Ah phoey, Dave W beat me to it!

Belongs to the local farmer who sold all the other land for housing. Purchased the P51 Mustang that was at Duxford and is now I believe in the US being repaired after a little crunch at Duxford last year. Maybe it's back in the UK. I believe the power lines are not an issue for a Mustang.
