Having big problems with the CAA and AESA (Spanish CAA, I now live in Espana). Was thinking about changing to FAA licence to get through this mess called EASA. Is this possible to do and if so how easy or hard is it to do. I still have my FAA licence when I went to Oshkosh back in 1992 which was issued almost instantly as I had(and presumably still have for life UK PPL?) even though I stupidly disclosed a medical problem back in 1999 which CAA grounded me . Have been flying on self certification with NPPL both power aircraft and gliders ever since but soon that route is denied in April as both my aircraft are EASA. Anyone give any advice how to continue flying please?
