One of the pictures here clearly shows that it is the right hand engine. Whilst it is most probable that it got ripped off by the slide down the bank, one wonders whether they had asymmetric thrust with the right hand engine not reducing in power correctly ?

2. There is a reason the bad weather circuit is traditionally flown above the runway rather than below.
