At the RAeS Conference last month mention was made of a Government sponsored Champion whose name was about to be made public.

The Civil Servant sat next to me remained tight lipped but it was clear there was a 'name-in-the-frame'.

I don't think I've missed any press release so I wonder what has happened. Loosing the Aviation Minister to Brexit in short order may have caused a slight hiatus but it's nearly a month since.

Anyone got the inside track on this?

I'll hazard a guess that the government's bandwidth is saturated dealing with a problem which has a looming deadline of its own devising.
