Hopefully not the last flying day this year, but certainly one of the best... after a silky smooth flight and a superb roast beef lunch at Fenland (superb, I repeat) we bumped into Stewart Luck, the YES strut coordinator. He had just bumped into Dick Roberts, their first bumping in 20 years. Dick is ex-RAF and spent some time as a display coordinator. I suspect many of you will know him, 86 and still going strong.
YES is the LAA initiative to get youngsters involved in flying so I blabbed on to Stewart about flying 20,000 scouts at Wickenby in October. If you're still with me he asked me to mention YES on the Forum. And because he arrived in a pretty RV, I thought I would share that with you, too.
