I have been messing around with tables again, trying to clarify some of the complex stuff we come across that often isn't very well understood.
This time, as part of a "Going Foreign" presentation I am working up*, I have tried to further clarify some earlier work regarding when GARs are/aren't required, and what the notice periods are, by producing a table.
I'd very much appreciate the Forum's thought on what I have done.
• Is it clear enough?
• Is it too complex, given the audience is a GA Pilot wanting to know what is essential? (For example, is the split in the table between GARs to Police and Border Force really necessary since if when a GAR is required you always send to both then that could simplify things even if one Agency gets a form they strictly needn't?)
• Have I missed anything? (I might have - see a thread from last year, for example)
• Can you suggest further improvements or deletions?
If you don't like something, it would be especially helpful if you could describe in whatever detail you think is required what's needed to improve it.
If you think something's wrong, I'd be grateful if you'd check first before posting and (even better) include a link to what's correct!
(In anticipation: The 'X' in the Outbound to RoI box for Border Force is intentional, and not an error; at least, it reflects what the GAR Guidance says).
*(Initially for a couple of LAA Struts over the winter, but also available on request for birthdays, weddings and bar mitzvahs etc)
