Job well done to walk away uninjured.

What is interesting is that wing has detached with little or no damage to the fuselage :!:

Also the prop is not damaged so presumably the engine was not rotating and it landed relatively normally on three wheels, so when the hell did the wing separate like that :?:

I'm told that it was N414AG.
The engine stopped in the cruise at 3000ft.
They were in very bad weather with a cloud base of only a few hundred feet and very poor viz.

Seems like he did a really good job.

My word, that is a busy aeroplane. Been all over in the last 10 days according to FR24's plots. Lucky as a lucky thing as others have said.

I still wouldn't have been flying even an IFR equipped aeroplane in that today.
