Hello,
We're heading into mid-August...no, really! The good news is that, briefly, the weather should improve this weekend. More below.
All of my autumn Aviation Weather School (Part 1) courses are now full, but I have announced a new course date of Saturday 27th January 2018. There are currently 2 places remaining. The course is perfect for all pilots, whatever your experience. You can find out more information at www.WeatherSchool.co.uk and it would be fabulous to see you there (if you haven't been already!).
Weatherweb Premium continues to grow and we’re keeping members up-to-date with both the short term forecast and ideas for the coming months and seasons. You can try Weatherweb Premium completely free at http://premium.weatherweb.net/become-a-member/
And don't forget you can also receive these forecasts by email, just send a blank email to

Have a great weekend,
Simon
WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST
==========================
Issued: 1100 hrs, Thursday 10th 2017
SATURDAY
=========
A cold front clears southeast England early on Saturday morning with a northwesterly flow than affecting all areas.
The airmass does remain fairly unstable and so this may allow a few showers to trigger in the afternoon, mostly over high ground. However pressure will be building from the west and the effect of this will be to kill off many of the showers. Some reasonable spells of sunshine for most, these improving into the afternoon.
Winds mainly W-NW 15-18kt (F4-F5), easing in the west later in the day.
SUNDAY
=======
A ridge of high pressure builds across the UK and Ireland on Sunday. This is going to be bringing a mostly fair day with some reasonable spells of sunshine.
However, a few showers will develop over high ground although these are expected to be isolated.
Cloud is going to be increasing in the far west later as front approach from the Atlantic.
Winds mainly W 10-12kt (F3-F4) becoming SW in the west later.
