Hi there,

i am willing to test my ADS-B in system, from ground level.

How far from the ground station to I need to be max, in order to receive UAT? 1 mile?

At Wycombe you almost gave to be in the airfield and the antenna visible to you.

It was never intended for reception on the ground, so range is not good.

Yup, I was about a mile away to get a good signal- but you must be line of sight as that frequency does not like buildings, trees, fences and walls!
