Hats off to the team at Sherburn-in -Elmet aerodrome for this weekend's event; what a great advert for the promotion of aviation and flight safety. Arriving at the aerodrome I was greeted with a genuine welcome at a thriving aviation community; with lots of flying going on and a club house and restaurant with a great atmosphere it reminded me why I 'got into' recreational flying . Moreover, on a day when most would have rather been flying, I was humbled to have a packed house of engaging aviators to listen to my presentation. Thank you.
