Ok, hint. I was making a courtesy return visit to the base of the Magni, which had been our first gyrocopter fly in to JAM. So it's an established gyrocopter base within fairly easy reach of Staverton

Not for me! It was RAF White Waltham when I was last there, and I would not be surprised if some of the AEF Chipmunk pilots had flown Hurricanes

No attempts for almost two days.
It is Craughwell - (the new Galway International). Very nice strip - and very hospitable. They have used empty milk cartons as runway edge markers - and even painted them red as you get within the last 100m.
