I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with ultralights, in particular Dave Edwards 'Affordaplane'?? I have the plans and hope to make a start on the frame in the coming weeks.
This weekend I'm going to sit quietly in the RH seat whilst one of our newer group members completes his first cross channel flight, inevitably to LFAT.

I have never quite understood the logic in this system.
How come a PA28 is not PFA but a Piper Cub is. In some cases I can work on a Lycoming if it is installed in a PFA aircraft but not if it is in a Cherokee.
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to take passengers up once your Skills Test has been passed but before your licence arrives through the post? I have heard that it could be possible under supervision?

Not a jibe at Martin, for a change but I was looking at the previour polls with regard to the overwhelming mistrust of EASA as indicated on the current one.
