I had to make time to take photos of your aeroplane, Timothy. :D
I'll e-mail you originals tomorrow. Just had another long day at OW and completely knackered.
There's a typo in those image URLS. Excess of backslashes!

OK, OK, I was tired. Worked on mine, and others it would seem. Display at OW today. We've now closed the airfield for a week, give it chance to recover! Think it's going to be wet this week anyway.
They were worth waiting for!
Love the one from overhead. What a lot of aeroplanes! "Let's go flying"

100 exactly although only 99 in the shot as I was in one of the Taylorcrafts. Probably a record for Old Warden and one not likely to be repeated. We had around about 100 for the Centenary of Flight (17 Dec 2003) but not all on the ground at the same time.
"If you were there, you are part of a record."
and if you landed them all within 3 hours you were running at a higher rate of landings than Heathrow per hour Sale extended, up to 40% off!

Depends how much inside three hours A good three hours at LHR should see 120 to 135 arrivals (somewhat more widely spaced and faster moving Mike T
Justified, ancient, but still no master plan...
