We visited Great Massingham today; nice strip with good tarmac, great pub with B&B a short 15 mins away.

Highly recommended.

Lunch great but not quick.

Will consider Great Massingham on that recommendation. Is that 15 minutes walk or by car?

I'd love to come along for this, especially to visit the venues not yet visited, but it's a busy weekend with conflicting and prior engagements.

Maybe another time...

At this stage I haven't considered such things as PPR. There are also a couple of other possible stops that I am still investigating, so this isn't a firm itinerary, it will almost certainly get modified as the weekend approaches.

SATURDAY
Meet at Conington (987m) for LUNCH.
Fenland (670m)
Marshland (850m)
Priory Farm (550m) - OVERNIGHT

SUNDAY
Priory Farm
Beccles (750m)
Scenic route along the coast to Weybourne (617m) - Visit to Muckleburgh Tank Museum
Burnham (510m)
Shipdham (862m)
Cromer (615m) - OVERNIGHT

MONDAY
Cromer
Seething (800m)
Elmsett (890m)
Sackville Farm (730m) - Depart for home

Looks good to me S&L. So who's coming then?

You'd be welcome to join us for just a bit of the weekend, or dip in and out, if you can't do it all. We are an understanding bunch :eye:

There is a chance I may be in the UK the same weekend, possibly at Beccles on Sunday morning.

If someone could pm me with a mobile number I can check your ETA; I won't have time to join you for the trips but it would great to finally meet some forumites in person over a tea/coffee.

Wonder if we could squeeze in a visit to the Boston Crop Sprayer' fly-in 4th/5th August 2012?

Boston is now the first destination instead of Conington.

We will re-jig Sunday pm and miss Shipdham, following advice about prop strikes (possible visit to Great Massingham instead).

Avgas supplies are plentiful at Priory Farm International.
Have some details of B&Bs in locality, able to assist with shuttle service.
Not an IFA, but I can show you some clever stuff with pensions and investments.
