Re: Lunch Destinations for a SundayShobdon (food can vary a bit).
In any direction other than through atlas!
If the weather is the same as yesterday go look at Snowdon , clear as a bell! Shobdon do a lovely ham egg and chips but guess that's a greased spoon. What about the Swan in Ewen near Kemble , need a taxi but it's good food. Should be an easy question to answer but it's not!
Re: Lunch Destinations for a SundaySomewhere near the olympics--london city-- for a nice healthy Macdonalds washed down with a coca cola.
The new cafe on the seafront at Bembridge, see the "shameless plug" thread, it's a great location. 25 minutes pleasant walk from the aerodrome or 5 mins taxi. It's 50 metres from the Crab and Lobster, down the steps behind the pub. Take the mobile number for the cafe owner though. They serve full meals.
Re: Lunch Destinations for a SundaySturgate , walk down to the Rose & Crown , for a good Sunday Carvery . Ask , when booking in & someone will take you down , if you prefer .

Re: Lunch Destinations for a SundayJust back.
That was a top tip; the airfield is pukka. Well maintained Runway (I only tried 04/22). Parking up near the hangar and dosh duly paid in the little cabin. Short walk (well the tinkywinkies thought it was miles but is only 15 mins even with them in tow!) Dabbling Duck; loads of atmosphere; great menu; friendly service and tasty food - think gastro pub; they were not super busy but still quite slow; no problem for us as we had all the time in the world but you may bear that in mind if you are in a hurry'sh.
