thanks masterofnone. Had a quick look but oddly they are only displaying availability for 20011/12 and not for the coming christmas. Sounded god though - I'll drop them an email.

If booking so far ahead and for so early in the season, book somewhere high and snow sure.

Not sure what your party's skiing ability is like, but if you/they are up to it, I would recommend a trip around the corner to La Grave, skiing wise, a very special place.

Yes...there's a glacier there too. Problem is Les Deux Alpes is renowned for being windy which often closes the link to the glacier (it did when I was there :( )
