A place for regular members to sell their aviation stuff (non-commercial only pls, and no aircraft for sale)
Forum rules: Non-Aviation or commercial items are not accepted. The option to put items for sale here is in the first place for regular posters, if you are not (yet) a regular poster it may be that your ad will not be accepted.

Buyers and sellers should be aware that Flyer Forums or its parent company are not responsible for the articles put up for sale here nor can be held liable for any part of the transaction process - the usual internet buying and selling caveats apply and should be borne in mind when dealing with buyer/sellers through an internet site.

I was bought one at the beginning of the year which was returned under warranty, as was its replacement. Whether it is my iPad that has the compatibility problems or not I don't know, however I have now received the second replacement and before opening it thought I would offer it for sale here using the funds to go towards an alternative GPS.

As can be seen on the Forum others are having great success with the Dual XGPS160.

Anyway, if anyone wants it unopened (with most recent delivery note) they can have it for £60 inc P&P.

If not I'll try this one, it could be 3rd time lucky.

Are you on iOS 8.3? You know that doesn't work with external GPS units? iOS 8.4 has been released but while it apparently works, it still reportedly has some problems.

Thanks Paul, I'm on 8.1.2 having decided not to update.

Whether it is the combination of the XGPS160 and the iPad, or more probably me, I don't know. Fact is I bought it on the recommendations here and elsewhere and whilst others seem to be getting on fine with it I find the internal GPS on the iPad more dependable. If someone wants a cheap new XGPS160 they can have this one delivered for £60 and I'll bite the bullet and buy a Glo. Failing that I'll try this unit, it may have upgraded firmware?
